This is a great place in the Ravenna neighborhood, located just up the street from the University Village, and just down the hill from our house. Let’s start with the fact that I do not eat oysters or drink champagne but this is still one of my favorite local restaurants with wonderful craft cocktails, great appetizers and entrees. I like going into the parlor with friends, having a cocktail from their list of creative libations and then ordering up the goat cheese deviled eggs and the homemade potato chips with feta cheese dip. If these don’t strike your fancy, there are many others to choose from on the happy hour menus. It’s one of the best in the city, certainly one of the best in our neighborhood.

For dining out, the menu is small so everything is fresh, local and as sustainable as possible. There is always a steak, pork, fish, pasta, and vegetarian option to choose from, small and large plates with creative sides. The Beachers White Cheddar cheese biscuits are not to be missed and there is always a creative Mac and Cheese on the menu.

Saturday: 10-2:30pm and 5-11pm
Sunday: 10-2:30pm
Mondays: closed

For a quick drink and a bite, or a full evening out this is a great place that we enjoy having in our Seattle neighborhood.
