Started about 10 ten years ago after Richard retired, this little “deli” of Carolyn’s has grown into a full fledged old fashioned country store and restaurant!  Now the locals come for good food, everything needed to keep a family in food, flowers and flour and live music on Saturday nights!

Expanded to the side with more tables for enjoying Carolyn’s fabulous food, downstairs into the basement for agricultural necessities and in the nice weather, outside for fresh plants and supplies to make your garden grow.

In the summer, the summer people from the Harbor development can be found here for breakfast or stocking up on supplies for a boat trip on Watauga Lake.  Year round, if I want a great cheeseburger, a plate of meat an 3 or a piece of homemade pie, this is where I go! In fact….probably time to pop over there right now and grab a bite to eat.
