Dovetail Gallery and Design, run by Renee Fukumoto-Ben, is a unique gallery that features exceptional local artists on the Big Island from outstanding sculptures, fired pottery, water color and Japanese Batik paintings, photography and art quilts as well as stunning hand made jewelry. The Dovetail Gallery is open Tuesday – Saturday from 10am – 4pm
The custom wood shop in the back of the gallery is run by Gerald Ben and features fine furniture and top quality custom wood works designed by Gerald Ben. In the wood shop, you will find many Koa and other Hawaiian wood furniture pieces; custom pool tables, coffee and dining room tables, wood paddles, hutches, wall units, stools, chairs and more! This gallery features some of the finest Hawaiian designs and craftsmanship on the Big Island of Hawaii! The custom woodworking shop hours are Monday – Friday from 8am – 4:30pm
