Dave’s diner is open seven days a week, but only for breakfast and lunch.  They open at 6 am every morning.  Mid-week they close at 2 pm, on weekends (Friday & Saturday nights) they close at 3:00 pm!!

Dave’s is an old-school, small, no-frills diner located right on the main thoroughfare (272) of Adamstown… also known as “Antiques Capital USA”.  The staff earns rave reviews from all who eat there for being friendly and attentive while serving up comfort food, burgers and breakfast fare.  Food portions are large, with interesting “local” treats ranting from fresh Scrapple to Cream Chip Beef on Toast and their own homemade Habanero Hot Sauce.

Desserts are delicious so be sure to save room.  A big favorite is the Sticky Bun with Ice Cream.  And is the case with many of these cute “mom & pop” diners, they make a mean milk shake.

Dave’s is a great spot for a bit while you’re hitting all the antique markets along “the strip”!
