Description:

Carmel Belle is a great find while meandering the streets and secret courtyards of Carmel by the Sea.  Located in the Doud Arcade Studios, you can enter from Ocean Avenue or around the corner on San Carlos Street, and walk past the local artisan shops to this locals’ secret that isn’t so much secret anymore, since they’ve expanded both their seating and their menu offerings and are now also pet friendly.  

Serving Breakfast and Lunch daily, Dinners now Sundays – Thursdays,  everything is made fresh on site (even the breads) and all is easily available to go as well as delivered to your table where you seat yourself. After ordering and paying at the counter, you are given a colored wooden spoon to put on your table so the servers deliver the correct order to your table.  Drinks are picked up at a new counter which offers all sorts of coffee drinks, tea varieties and best of all,  fresh smoothies and fresh vegetable juice blends such as, Clean & Green, Dr. Feelgood, Sweet & Low, and California Punch.  There are two soups choices daily such as tomato basil garnished with goat cheese,  black bean bacon and sirloin chili, several hot or cold sandwiches with chicken & brie, ham & fontina, prosciutto and asparagus, cheddar and bacon,  salads with pears, walnuts & blue cheese, beets, vermont cheddar & pecans, assorted hard cheeses and or course, desserts.  

Breakfast is served until noon daily which features breakfast sandwiches,  poached eggs with country toast, croissants with home made jams and smoked bacon.  The menu is written on a chalk board above where you order and the daily specials on small boards at eye level on the counter which displays the yummy cheeses, fruits salamis and beverages you can take to go.
