In Victoria this is Cafe Brio, an 85 seat eatery serving “West Coast Cuisine” with a touch of Italian flavour thanks in no small part to co-owner Silvia Marcolini and her “Momma Maria”. Wine master and front-man Greg Hayes sets the mood with his gregarious welcome and Chef Laurie Munn’s team deliver extraordinary, creative dishes in both full and half sized portions. Everything is done in house from the cured meats to the deserts and the menu changes regularly.
Start your evening with one of JJ’s creative cocktails as you “pour” over the menu. Don’t miss the “Olives Ascolane” – Italian meat stuffed olives handmade by Maria using the original recipe from their hometown of Ascoli Piceno. Cafe Brio has been wowing guests since 1996.
