The Blacklist Artisan Ales Taproom was founded in 2012 and moved into Downtown Duluth on a historic location in November 2016. A glass garage door is a unique storefront and lifts to their open-air taproom. Blacklist Artisan Ale Owners and Brewmaster offer a Belgian-style beer unlike any other brewery in town. They feature a Belgian-style Imperial Stout, a Belgian IPA, and a Belgian-style strong golden ale. Because the building is located on the premises of a very tumultuous past, they offer an ale named “Last Pale on Earth”. When you stop in, ask them to give you the history of their location. Blacklist’s distribution includes Duluth, the North Shore, Superior Wisconsin, Ely Minnesota and the Minneapolis and St. Paul area.

The taproom is open Monday through Thursday from 3 p.m. to midnight. On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Blacklist is open from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. There is plenty of parking on the street or nearby parking ramps and lots. Special prices for Pours, Beermosas and Boots are available during Happy Hour. Happy Hours are Monday through Thursday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday Happy Hour is 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday Industry Happy Hour is 7 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Every Wednesday evening there is Jazz music offered at the taproom from 7-9 p.m. On select Saturday mornings a certified Yoga Instructor will lead an adult yoga class which is followed with a pint of Blacklist Ale. Check out their website for dates, time, registration and cost.
