Everything old is new again! Bend Dusty’s, a family-owned restaurant took a sabbatical and when they returned everything was new again. OK, the truth is they worked like crazy to totally renew the restaurant. If you visited before now, you will be amazed at the wonderful transformation. They also offer a limited picnic area outside.

Yes, they still feature their well-known BBQ, but there is a good variety of menu items and many are new. Steaks, seafood, ribs, wings and yes boneless wings are appearing on the updated menu. The Salad Bar is really good. It features romaine lettuce, baby kale, carrots, cucumbers, cherub tomatoes, boiled eggs, craisins, grapes, pickled beets, sugar snap peas, pineapples, peaches, broccoli, potato salad, black olives, cottage cheese, raisins, pine nuts, sunflower seeds, croutons, strawberries, red onions and it changes weekly. But, as good as the salad bar is, the Circle Salad is really nice — you are given a listing of all the salad options and you select/build your own made- to-order salad special by circling what you like. They have a large selection of dressings including Orange Mandarin Ginger! Two soups daily. The Calamari Appetizer is a big hit, too. Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available. They also offer a caterer.

They are open for lunch Wednesday through Saturday, from 11am to 2 pm, and they reopen at 5pm for dinner. They are closed Sunday through Tuesday, but scheduling for one of the open days is well worth the timing.

The newly renovated interior offers comfortable seating and the new ceiling fans are the bomb! The food is delicious, but just checking out the fans is a treat!
