Though it’s located off the beaten path, it’s worth the short walk from the center of Burlington — these croissants might be the best in town. Though they have wifi and are very amenable to college students and business folk needing a place to hammer out some work, they always have a steady stream of locals coming by for some conversation and light reading, giving the atmosphere a good mix. On Wednesday through Saturday nights, they host Pizza Barrio, a pizza night whose menu changes weekly and always offers fresh, local ingredients on top of a thick doughy crust.
