Born out of a family’s frustration with the gluten free options available, A Better Way is a place where everything on the menu is gluten free. Care is taken so there’s no chance of cross contamination with gluten products.  In fact, there is simply no gluten containing food allowed on the premises.

Everything on the menu is made from scratch daily.  Meats for sandwiches are bought as roasts, then seasoned, cooked and sliced in house for the day’s lunch.  The takeout menu items can be bought to be consumed elsewhere  or purchased to be made at home. These items include storage directions should you be purchasing a day or so ahead.  Choose to eat in the cafe where the menu includes salads, sandwiches, paninis, soups and quiche along with daily specials.  A more recent, widely applauded endeavor has been the sale of breaded fish for fish fry Fridays.  Call ahead to reserve yours.

Belly up to the counter to choose your dessert.  Behind the glass you will see cookies, bars, pies, cakes, pastries, muffins, parfaits and cheesecakes.  Special occasion cakes, cupcakes, pies and rolls can be ordered for birthdays, weddings, graduations, etc.  Behind the counter are loaves of bread to take home; multi-grain, not-real-rye, honey-oat and onion rolls to name a few.
