Where do you Live? Edmond, Oklahoma
Why did you choose the city / state you now live in? My husband owned property in Edmond so we located here. We also own a property in Guthrie, Oklahoma so we are enjoying two towns now!
What do you love most about where you live? Edmond, Oklahoma is still young and very active. We are the upscale bedroom community in the Oklahoma City Metro area. Edmond is home to the 3rd largest University in Oklahoma, the University of Central Oklahoma. The Arcadian Inn is just across the street from the campus. The newest, latest, trendiest can be found in Edmond. Having lived here for almost 30 years, we have watched our little suburb grow into a hip and beautiful community. The cool place to live.
What is your favorite restaurant in your town?
In Edmond OK, we love Lottinvilles Wood Grill, beautiful restaurant with a semi-casual menu but upscale service. Love the Tilapia. In Guthrie OK, Stables, the local barbecue joint is a favorite. I love their onion strings.

Do you have any Pets? Garfield showed up at the Inn one night. He’s a yellow “Garfield” cat.
What is your favorite thing to do in your free time? Spend time with my husband, children and grandchildren and my wonderful friends!
What is your favorite season and why? Spring, the new earth, rebirth.
If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do? Give a tenth to the LORD with a grateful heart!
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be? Dance
If you could witness any event past, present or future, what would it be? Sunday morning in the Garden when Christ appeared to Mary.

What do you love most about your Job? Serving the guests. When the guests arrive, the fun begins.
What is your Experience and Background in the Travel Industry? Besides owning and running an Inn for 24 years, I was a charter member of the Oklahoma Bed and Breakfast Association, and President of that organization many years. I worked with Arkansas as they set up their association inspection system and then worked for BBAA for 6 years inspecting their member inns every two years. I have been on the Edmond Convention and Visitor’s Bureau Advisory Board for many years, serving as Chairman as well. I am a member of PAII, served on Panels and as speaker for many state, regional and national conferences. I love to teach, mentor and encourage innkeepers, that they may achieve their dream as well.
